Exposure loss smoke odor
SERVPRO of Lowell was hired to remove the soot and smoke odor from the building due to exposure loss from the adjacent building. The fire and the smoke billowed in affecting the entire building. The cleaning/restoration of the units, common space, attic and fogging of the affected space, dynamically reduced the odor. The odor was still present. Although, previously suggested to apply sealant the PA and GA (General Adjuster) were not on the same page. After several additional of site meetings with the bldg owner, PA and GA, they approved application of smoke sealant. The following week the smoke sealant was applied the bldg. owner and its tenants were satisfied.
