Restaurant water damage

A local restaurant had pipes burst above the suspended ceiling our team removed the ceiling tiles exposing drywall ceiling above. We suggested removal of the ceiling tiles and grid to access the drywall above. The owners disagreed their business could not shut down during the holiday season. We discussed their options with the insurance carrier and the city health inspector. The health inspector required the affected area to be contained and tenting the ceiling to reduce the water running across the floor. We installed several air scrubbers venting to the exterior and a hydroxyl to naturally deodorize the restaurant while we awaited a service date.

Our team began night shift work after the restaurant closed removal of affected materials and completed repairs before the prep crew arrived to prep for the day’s business.
