When its critical to remain operational contact SERVPRO of Lowell

SERVPRO of Lowell was called to a medical care clinic for sewer damage in a 2nd floor bathroom.  Building maintenance began the process in house to clean up the sewer with in the bathroom when someone above flushed flooding the 2nd floor ceiling.  They found the main line clogged; maintenance contacted a drain cleaning company and SERVPRO. Our team began extracting both floors as the clinic needed to remain operational. The drain company requested our assistance to extract as they removed the toilet to access the main line. Once this section of line was cleared the drain company found several other clogs and the injector pump full on sanitary products and diapers.

As the sewer and water began seeping into the lobby the health inspector shut down the clinic while everyone worked on the clean up. The health inspector requested a separation from the affected wing; we built a temporary containment barrier to allow the clinic to resume business. The inspector approved and allowed the clinic to reopen.
